NMYO Honors Chamber Ensembles in Concert

The
Northeast Massachusetts Youth Orchestras will be presenting their Honors Chamber
Ensemble Concert on Saturday, March 29th, 7:00pm, at the Shalin Liu Performance
Center, 37 Main Street, Rockport, MA.

NMYO’s
top student musicians will be featured in this concert. Their participation is based
on outstanding performances at NMYO’s Annual Chamber Music Concert earlier this
month.  Ensembles will include mixed
chamber ensembles.  This special concert
will include music from some of the great masters of the chamber music genre
such as Beethoven and Dvorak in addition to more contemporary composers.

This
concert is sponsored, in part, by the Fuller Foundation, Nathaniel and
Elizabeth P. Stevens Foundation, and Market Basket & Demoulas Foundation. Additional
grants to fund this concert came from the Essex, Gloucester and Rockport
Cultural Councils, local agencies which are supported by the Massachusetts
Cultural Council, a state agency.
