UU 101 Offered at UUCGL
Curious about Unitarian Universalism? Not sure if it’s a place where you will fit in? Not sure what they believe? Join the Unitarian Universalist Church of Greater Lynn (UUCGL) for “UU 101.” Rev. Judy Smith-Valley will lead the class beginning February 6 at 7:30 pm at the church and runs for four consecutive Wednesday evenings.
The course goals are to 1) introduce Unitarian Universalism, 2) help attendees decide if UUism is right for them, 3) provide information related to Unitarian Universalist worship, theology, history, social justice, faith development, and governance, 4) provide resources within and outside the congregation for the independent exploration of topics, and 5) introduce participants to a cross-section of current members.
UUCGL is located at 101 Forest Avenue, Swampscott and holds services and faith development classes at 10 am every Sunday. Directions can be found at: www.uucgl.org.
