Affective disorders such as clinical depression and bipolar disorder (manic depression) affect millions of people every year. Coping with these often-misunderstood mood disorders is difficult enough, but coping alone can be even tougher.
Peer support for people suffering from clinical depression and bipolar disorder is now available every Tuesday night from 6:15 to 7:45 pm at the MGH Revere facility, 1st floor Administrative Conference Room, 300 Ocean Avenue in Revere.
Newcomers’ meetings for first-timers take place every week starting at 6:00 pm.
These support group meetings are free and open to anyone with depressive or bipolar (manic-depressive) disorders. No pre-registration is required.
The MGH Revere support group for people suffering from clinical depression and bipolar disorder is sponsored by the MGH Revere Mental Health Department.
