Bishop Uglietto to speak at Marian Court College

Most Reverend Peter J. Uglietto, STD, the 35th auxiliary
bishop of the archdiocese of Boston, North Region, will offer Mass on the campus
in Marian Court College on Nov. 19. Bishop Uglietto’s homily will focus on
Marian Court College’s core values of compassion, integrity, justice and
service. The Bishop’s visit is open to both the campus and outside community.



As Regional Bishop of the North Region, Bishop Uglietto
oversees 63 parishes and 22 schools. Born in Cambridge, the Bishop holds a
bachelor’s degree from Boston College, a master’s in Christian Spirituality
from Creighton University, and a Licentiate in Sacred Theology as well as a doctorate
in Sacred Theology from the Pope John II Institute for Marriage and Family Life
(American Campus of Rome’s Pontifical Lateran University).



The Mass will be held at 11:30, followed by a luncheon. The
college is located at 35 Little’s Point Road in Swampscott.
