Windows of Swampscott Presentation Saturday

Here is one of five things to know about Swampcott today: The Window Woman, Alison Hardy, featured on This Old House, will discuss Swampscott widows Saturday from 11 a.m. to noon at the library.

The Window Woman, Alison Hardy, featured on This Old House, will discuss the types of windows that can be found in Swampscott homes and commonalities in style and dimensions. She will explore some of the reasons homeowners grow dissatisfied with their home's original windows and discuss a variety of methods to make older/antique windows functional and cost effective in our modern world.
