NEW VIDEO: Waders Anchor Sailboat in Wild Surf

Three young men and a young woman anchored a wave-tossed sailboat that was drifting toward shore Sunday.

Three young men and a young woman anchored a wave-tossed sailboat that was drifting toward shore Sunday.

At the end of the video, two people hold the anchor line to another sailboat that was moved from a spot near the rocks to a better anchor spot.

Sailboat owners planned to return to their boats on Monday to move them back to Fisherman's Beach.

Two of those four boys were my sons, Andrew & James Keeter, along with their friend Misha. They were trying to secure our friends' sailboat before it crashed into the seawall.

I am sure their help was appreciated. I saw the boat last night at low tide. Wow. I feel bad for the owners of all the boats beached there.

I would like to thank my friends for their help in saving my blue sailboat (Liquid Logic) from the clutches of Mother Nature - George Gallup, Doc Freedman, Steve Howe, Trent Shute, Rick Wood, Bill Sullivan, Rob Begin, Jonathan and Lauren Sherlock (who I owe an anchor to), Andy Leband, Dennis Carmody, Kelly Cassidy, and MOSTLY the support of my wife Elaine L. Smith. I hope I didn’t leave anyone out, if so my apologies. Equally important were the number of complete strangers that helped us. It's great to know there are still people out there who don't even know you, and help out just the same. I'm enlightened, and I hope many others were too in this experience. Liquid Logic is again safely at her mooring where she belongs, with a number of battle scares to prove her mettle. What a storm!

Hey, one of those four "boys" was my daughter, Anna Booras!
