VIDEO: Kira is Looking to Start Over with a New Home

Kira is currently up for adoption at the Northeast Animal Shelter.

Kira is 5-year-old female domestic shorthair looking for a safe place to call home.

Communications Director Steve Oakes said Kira has "had a rough life so far, but she's now here at the shelter settling in pretty nicely."

Oakes said Kira is "very affectionate with people," but she isn't a fan of other cats.
