The Jewish War Veterans Post 220 of the North Shore will be holding their first annual ‘Funraiser’ on Monday at the Tides Restaurant & Lounge in Nahant.

The Tides Restaurant will graciously donate 10 percent of its receipts between the hours of 6 -9 p.m. to the Jewish War Veterans.

All monies received will be used by the Post to fund their activities in support of all veterans during the upcoming year.

Post 220 supports the residents of the Bedford VA hospital by donating needed supplies for the benefits of its residents and providing scholarships to worthy high school students.

The great thing about this ‘Funraiser’ is any resident of the North Shore can participate by dining at the Tides Restaurant that evening.

This is the Post’s only fundraiser in this area, so hopefully there will be a large turnout.
