Three Candidates Emerge From Planner Candidates
The town administrator plans to recommend a person for the post at the next selectmen's meeting.
The town is preparing to hire a town planner and energy efficiency administrator.
A pool of about 20 candidates has been reduced to three very well-qualified candidates, Town Administrator Andrew Maylor said.
He expects to make a recommendation to the at its next meeting.

The town planner will work with the Planning Board in developing a long-range plan for the town.
About a third of the planner's salary will be funded by Green Communities funding, Maylor said.

Also, regarding plans and development, the town has received two proposals each for re-development of the town-owned Temple building and the old Middle School.
All four proposals would turn the old buildings into residences.
