5 Things To Do This Weekend

A second try for the second annual Swampscott Classic Car Show. It's Sunday from 10 to 2. Last Sunday's show was rained out.

There's plenty going on this weekend in Swampscott and, hopefully, the weather will cooperate.

Walk: The 6th Annual North Shore Walk for Parkinson’s Disease will be held on Saturday. The 3-mile walk starts at the First Church Congregational, 40 Monument Avenue in Swampscott. Registration is $25 and starts at 10 am; walk begins at 10:30 am. Free T-shirts for the first 100 walkers.

Cheer: Big Blue football plays at home against Salem Saturday at 2:30 at Blocksidge Field on Humphrey Street.

Funnin: Bring the kids to the JCC Fall Festival Saturday, Oct. 20, 5:30-8:30pm and enjoy a Pumpkin Toss, Fall Arts & Crafts, DJ & Dancing, Gym Games and dinner & dessert!  

Run: The Miles for Kyle 5k run is Sunday at 10 am at Preston Beach Park. The run raises awareness about pediatric epilepsy surgery research.

Ogle: The Swampscott Classic Car Show is Sunday, Oct. 21, from 10 am to 2 pm on the Town Hall lawn.
