Teresa on the Mark

Swampscott's Teresa Vatcher didn't hesitate to predict the final score of Wednesday's hockey game between the Bs and Vancouver. She has a prediction for tonight, too.

Teresa Vatcher flicked her response as rapid as a wrist shot.

Asked for a Bruins prediction Wednesday at Kings Beach, long before skates scratched Garden ice in Game 4 action, she called the final score cold.

"Four — Zip," she told Patch reporter Scot Cooper, who was polling passersby for a person on the street video.

The next morning she got a call from her son-in-law.

He told her she had nailed the score.

Teresa confessed to falling asleep and not seeing the game.

But she said 4 has long been her lucky number.

She placed a nickel on the number 4 when she was 5 or 6 years old and playing a carnival game and won a Teddy Bear.

It was major highlight in her young life.

So what score is Teresa calling for Game 5?

"4-2," she said.

We forgot to ask her who gets the 4 spot but we are pretty confident she is calling it for the Bruins.

By the way, why 4-2?

It's a lucky combo.

Years ago, she and a friend went to Wonderland dog track. They played their lucky numbers in the Daily Double — 4 and 2.

They won $150.
