The Planning Board is likely to begin work on a site plan review by February, Town Planner Peter Kane told the board at their last meeting.
The proposal, which has been revised significantly, will require that the Planning Board approve a new subdivision of the site.
Atlantic Crossing has proposed to build 14 single-family homes on the old Temple site.
The board approved the location of a sign on the property that will describe the proposal.
Kane told the board it should rewrite the town's regulations governing subdivisions as it considers the Atlantic Crossing subdivision because the current regulations are outdated.
