Stephanie Lannon of Swampscott is running the 2013 Boston Marathon in support of Pine Street Inn.  In addition to running 26.2 miles, Stephanie is also committed to raising $5,000 for Pine Street’s mission to end homelessness.

Stephanie watches the Boston Marathon every year with her family, but this will be her first time running the storied race. She became familiar with Pine Street Inn through a business connection and jumped at the opportunity to run on Team Pine Street. Stephanie is excited to be running for a cause and hopes support from friends and family will help her reach her fundraising goal.

As a recognized charity of the John Hancock Non-Profit Boston Marathon Program, Pine Street was awarded eight official entries for this year’s marathon. With a collective fundraising goal of $40,000, the team is instrumental in the “race to end homelessness.”

If you would like to help Stephanie and Team Pine Street meet their fundraising goals, please visit www.pinestreetinn.org/marathon.

Serving more than 11,000 men and women each year, Pine Street provides permanent housing, job training, emergency shelter and street outreach.  Stephanie is among the more than 4,000 volunteers who assist with Pine Street’s work every day of the year.
