St. Patrick's Day Celebrations

We had little luck finding St. Patrick's Day celebrations in town so we ventured beyond the Swampscott borders.

Here are the places we found in Marblehead and one in Swampscott.

1. : Feel like doing something fun tonight? Head on down to Front Street and check out The Landing Restaurant's celebration, scheduled to run from 7 to 10 p.m. The pub side of the restaurant will be serving traditional Irish food and will offer live music.

2. : Sweeney's Retreat on Atlantic Avenue will be serving corned beef and cabbage from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. today. The pub will also offer live Irish music with Dan Hallisee, scheduled to begin tonight at 6 p.m.

3. Hungry Betty's Bar and Grille: Hungry Betty's Bar and Grille on Pleasant Street will be serving corned beef and cold Guinness all day long. Then tonight, starting at 8:30 p.m., Hungry Betty's will offer live music during their Reviving the Flynnies Dance Party, featuring the Jack Bone Soul Show. 

4.  Maddie's Sail Loft on State Street will hold a St. Patrick's Day celebration all day today, culminating with a live three-piece Irish band performing at the downstairs bar later tonight. Throughout the night there will be Jameson and Guinness gear giveaways. 

5,: The Paradiso at 15 Railroad Avenue will serve Irish risotto and serve green skinny margaritas.
