turns its attention this week to a local website and the latest Swampscott Patch facebook poll.

For those who like looking at historical photographs of Swampscott, there are quite a few on the Swampscott Police Department's website.

They include some arrest wagons, fire scenes, and officers from long ago.

At least one photographs shows a department members who was born in 1835, well before the Civil War.

The site also includes a well done Chronicle video about the unsolved murder of native son Henry Bedard.

The video shows how unanswered questions trouble people to this day and the pain that remains for Henry's family decades later.

Switching to a lighter noteh, this week's Facebook poll asked readers to declare allegiance to their favorite Boston/New England professional sports team.
