Sign Up For Next Driver's Ed Class

Instructor Joe Bennett will offer a one-week course in July.

2) Newsbit of the Day: 

Swampscott High School will run its next driver education program starting on July 8th.

This will be a one-week course, running July 8th to July 12th. The class will begin at 8:30 am and end at 3:30pm. The parent night will be July 9th, from 6:30-8:30 in room B129 at SHS. 

Students must be 15 and 9 months in order to enroll. Cost of the program is $100 for the 30-hour course and $375 for the 12 hours of driving and observation.

This course will be available to Swampscott and Nahant residents that do not attend Swampscott High School.

3) Swampscott Scholars: 

Cody Kline was named to the Dean's list at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute for the Fall 2012 semester. The dean's list recognizes full-time students who maintain grade-point averages of a minimum of 3.0 out of a possible 4.0 and have no grades below "C."

4) Weather Watch:
