Sculpins at the Kick-off Classic
The U-12 team got some preseason experience a weekend ago before starting their regular season.

Over Labor Day weekend the Swampscott Sculpins, a U12 boys soccer team, participated in the Annual Fall Kick-Off Classic in North Reading.
For the Sculpins, with a relatively young mixture of 10- and 11-year-olds, the soccer tournament gave them their first chance to play together as a team before beginning their Essex County Youth Soccer Association season schedule.

The Sculpins drew some tough competition for their four games but came a way with a well earned 1-1-2 record against Framingham, Litchfield, NH, North Andover and North Reading.
