POLL: Would You Regionalize the Town Administrator Position?

Selectman Barry Greenfield threw out this idea at an earlier selectmen's meeting — sharing a town administrator among Swampscott, Marblehead and Nahant.

At the time all three towns had openings or anticipated openings for their town administrator slots.

The selectman suggested a regional administrator as a way of saving money.

Others at the meeting said that such a move would require a charter change and other action so it wasn't practicial in the short-term.

Even so, we are curious what others think of the idea.
