Hundreds of people came to the Gold Star Run for Honor in memory of SPC Jared Raymond at the Clarke Elementary School on Saturday.
The skies cleared and runners took to the streets for an honor run Saturday morning.
Music played, kids played baseball on the Clarke School grounds and runners ran 5K and 10K races on the streets of Swampscott.
The event was the Gold Star Run for Honor in memory of SPC .
