In addition to his bestselling, award-winning Barbecue! Bible cookbooks, articles by him appear regularly in Food & Wine, Bon Appetit, and other magazines and newspapers.

He was host of PBS's popular series Barbecue University at the Greenbrier, now out on DVD.

The library owns his The Barbecue Bible Cookbook, Raichlen on Ribs, Ribs, Outrageous Ribs, The Barbecue Bible: Sauces, Rubs and Marinades, Steve Raichlins’ BBQ USA and Steven Raichlin’s Planet Barbecue.

Another popular barbecuing book was written by the Today Show’s Al Roker in his heavier days.

His Al Roker's Big Bad Book of Barbecue : 100 easy recipes for backyard barbecue and grilling is always being checked out as a reference for a good barbecue meal.

For those more diet conscious people we have The Low-carb Barbecue Book : over 200 recipes for the grill and picnic table by Dana Carpender.

For a different taste of barbecue we have The Italian Grill by Mario Batali who brings together his passion for Italian food and his love of grilling.

All in all, the end result is the same, a great meal.

Take a minute to check out one or all of these titles to insure that your summer will continue into the fall with great food.
