The School Committe members have a new seating arrangement for their meetings, moving from a straight line to a u-shape.
Committee member Amy O'Connor asked at the last meeting for an alternative seating arrangement, one where members faced each other, making it easier for the members to interact and accomplish more at their meetings.
Chairman Rick Kraft said the linear arrangement accommodated interaction with the public.
In addition the arrangement accommodated the high school cable television group's coverage.
The new alignment gives at least some seats in the audience a direct view facing the committee.
