Shortly before 11 on Saturday morning a Swampscott resident reported to police that he saw two men walking in the road who appeared to be drunk and falling over themselves, according to court records.

The witness said one of the men had urinated on the fence in the Superior Street yard.

The home is across the street from a public playground and senior and public housing, the police report states.

Police located the men who matched the witnesses description. They were on Erie Street and were seen drinking from a two-liter coke bottle, with a 40-oz Miller beer bottle in a plastic bag next to them.

The man who allegedly urinated in public was identified by the witness and police placed the suspect under arrest, the record states.

The other man was given a ride home.

Zhdanov was taken to the Swampscott Police Station and booked.

A friend arrived and bailed him out.
