Live Music This Weekend: Mike Tucker and Spike the Punch in Beverly

Here is a round up of live music happening this weekend around the North Shore.

This weekend is packed with live music on the North Shore and a whole bunch of bands playing a wide variety of music genres, from classic rock to blues and soul, can be seen for free at rock clubs and restaurants throughout the region.

Mike Tucker is playing Chianti's in Beverly this Friday. "Tucker returns to our stage celebrating his new album the Mike Tucker Trio (+1) recorded live at Chianti in 2011. Mike will be performing songs from his album as well as some new material. Come check out one of New England’s greatest young saxophonists."

Brendan Hogan & Stephanie Corby will be playing at the Crossroads Coffee House in North Andover. "Brendan's music features original roots, modern folk, and blues-based songs, as well as familiar standards in the folk and country genres. Stephanie has the kind of voice that can make the waters part; loud, sweet, and soulful, and she has an engaging, original stage spirit as well-- she could have saved Moses a lot of trouble.'"
