She is the daughter of Bruce Depper and Jane Goldstein of Swampscott, and is majoring in global studies at Colby. 

Students whose grade point averages were 3.61 or higher were named to the Dean's List.

Founded in 1813, Colby College is the 12th-oldest independent liberal arts college in the nation.

3) Swampscott Athletics: Big Blue girls basketball will square up against Stoneham High School Saturday at 7 pm in the Swampscott High gym. Stoneham defeated Lynnfield in the first round of the D3 North tournament, 48-44, on Thursday.
