Waterfront Advisory Committee Meets Today

Here are the five things you need to know before you start your day in Swampscott.

2. The Harbor and Waterfront Advisory Committee will meet this morning in the second-floor conference room of Swampscott Town Hall. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m., according to the posted agenda.

3. The town Traffic Study Committee will again take up parking at the popular summertime destination Phillips Beach. The chairman of the Board of Selectmen asked study committee member and Assistant Town Administrator Dave Castellarin to have the panel consider the whole situation including changes to parking restrictions on Ocean Avenue and other streets in the neighborhood.
