Blizzard Warnings Whipping up a Storm of Postponements

Storm warning have event organizers postponing events well in advance.

 

Postponements are rolling in well in advance of Friday and Saturday's predicted Nor'easter, a howling storm that could blanket the North Shore with 20 or more inches of snow.

The PTA/Hadley School dance that was planned for Friday night at the Middle School was rescheduled for Feb. 14, at 6:30, at the Swampscott Middle School, Hadley Principal Sandra Rivers said.

Over at the high school, the Swampscott track teams' annual pancake breakfast that was set to take place Saturday morning has been postponed until Saturday, March 2.

The track team fundraiser will run from 9 a.m. to noon in the high school cafeteria on the second day of March.

And Whole Foods Market has postponed its Chocolate Fest until Monday, Feb 11, from 5-7 pm.
