1) Newsbit of the Day: Selectmen will talk about trash sticker fees at tonight's meeting at 7 pm at Town Hall. Residents can buy stickers for overflow trash disposal. The town's waste reduction program will limit trash disposal to two 35-gallon barrels or two 30-gallon bags starting July 1, the  Board of Health reported earlier.

2) Swampscott Scholars: Bridget J. O'Leary was awarded a degree in Estudios Hispanicos, with a minor in government and educational studies, at St. Lawrence University's Commencement ceremony, held May 22, on the campus in Canton, New York.

3) Swampscott Athletics: Big Blue track athletes Peter Hale and Melinda Wilson will compete at nationals, a June 14-16 meet in Greensboto, NC, that will draw some of the finest track athletes in the nation.
