5 Things to Know: Superintendent Succession Talks Tonight

1) Town and School Meeting Watch: Tonight the Harbor and Waterfront Advisory Committee, 6:30, the Finance Committee, 7, and the Historical Commission, 7, are scheduled to meet at Town Hall. 

2) Newsbit of the Day:  Tonight the School Committee is scheduled to talk about and plan for the superintendent succession. The committee meets at 7 in Room B208 at Swampscpott High.

4) Weather Watch: A slight chance of snow before 10 am, then a slight chance of rain and snow between 10 am and 11 am, then a chance of rain after 11 am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 46. South wind 10 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph.

5) Big Blue Watch: The Northeastern Conference girls' and boys' all-star games will take place Friday, Feb. 22, at Swampscott High. The girls play at 6 p.m.; and the boys play at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for students and senior citizens. No passes accepted.
