1) Town and School Meeting Watch: 

Recreation Commission members will plan for the Easter Egg Hunt and July 4 parade and festivities when they meet Monday at 7:30 p.m. in Town Hall in the second-floor conference room.

2) Newsbit of the Day: 

Join HAWC (Healing Abuse Working for Change) May 5th for its 21st Walk and second run at the Salem Common. Over 1,500 supporters will come out to raise domestic violence awareness and funds for HAWC.  Kayla Harrison, Olymipian Gold medalist, is this year's honorary Walk/Run Chair.

3) Swampscott Scholars: 

 Katharine Moran of Swampscott was recently named to the High Honor Roll for the fall term at Pomfret School. A student earns Honors with a 3.0 average and no grade below a "B-. Katharine, a member of the class of 2016, earned the distinction of High Honors with a 3.5 average and no grade below a B-.
