5 Things Including Interviews for Assistant Assessor
On Wednesday selectmen are scheduled to interview candidates for the town's assistant assessor position.
1) Town and School Meeting Watch: The Renewable Energy Committee, 6:30 p.m., the Capital Improvement Committee, 6:30 p.m., and the Recreation Commission, 7:30 p.m., all meet Monday at Town Hall.
2) Newsbit of the Day: On Wednesday at their meeting selectmen are scheduled to interview candidates for the town's assistant assessor position. Slated for interviews in open session are Nancy Gifford of Salem and Leslie George of Salem.
3) Swampscott Scholars: Tufts University recently announced its Dean's List for the Fall 2012 semester. Among students on the list is Sara Golkari of Swampscott, class of 2013. Dean's List honors at Tufts University require a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater.
