5 Things Including Babe Ruth Baseball

Think spring, register for the 2013 season of Swampscott Nahant Babe Ruth baseball.

1) Newsbit of the Day: Registration is now open for the 2013 season of Swampscott Nahant Babe Ruth baseball.  This is the baseball program for 13-15 year old players from Swampscott and Nahant.  The season runs from April through the end of the school year and teams from Swampscott and Nahant compete in a league with teams from Marblehead.  Players must be 13, 14 or 15 years old on April 30, 2013 to participate. Online registration is available at http://www.active.com/baseball-league/swampscott-ma/swampscott-nahant-babe-ruth-baseball-2013. For paper registration, or for any other information, please email the program at SNBaberuth@gmail.com.

2) Swampscott Scholars:  Class of 2012 graduates Samantha Coogan, Kathy Vu and Tobin Bartolo received the Ronzano Family Memorial Scholarship.
