More open land. The only real open land the town has is above upper Jackson Field.

2. Swampscott High track team sprinter Lauren Moran:

A place for kids to hang out.

3. Finance Committee Chairman Michael McClung:

A fair share of Chapter 70 education funding from the state.

4. School Committee member Marianne Hartmann:

A very good town administrator. (The town is looking at candidates to fill the vacancy that arose when longtime Swampscott Administrator Andrew Maylor left on Dec. 15 to become North Andover's town manager.

5. Selectman David Van Dam: 

A reduction in real estate taxes.
