Shake off the chill and join us for a relaxed and fun February wine class!
On Thursday, February 7th Maia Gosselin of Sip Wine Education will present a 1-night wine class sponsored by the Town of Swampscott's Recreation department. Taking a "trip around the world" approach, we'll taste 6 wines from different countries learning about various regions, current trends and the concept of terroir. With Valentine's Day around the corner we’ll be sure to sample some bubbly! Additionally, we will feature light culinary compliments. Cost is $25 per person. Class time will be 7-9pm at the Swampscott Senior Center. Tasting notes will be provided.

Men’s over 40 Basketball
Men’s pick -up basketball to be held at the High School on Monday nights starting on January28th from 8:30-9:30 pm for 8 weeks. The cost is $50.

Babysitter Course-This class starts this weekend sign up today!
Instructor Debbie La Flemme is a licensed day care provider with over 25 years experience who has been teaching the course for cities and towns throughout the state. Learn infant and toddler care. Diapering and feeding techniques ,handle bedtime issues, choosing age-appropriate toys and games and how to perform basic first aid. This class will be held for kids grade 5 and up on Saturday January 26th at Swampscott High School from 10-3 pm . The cost is $50. Sign up @ swampscottrec.com
February Vacation Fun Days
Held for kids ages K-5 at Swampscott Middle School during school vacation from 9-1. February 19th- 22nd. This program is run by J Knowles and Lauren Sampson. Children will have fun in the gym playing games as well as doing Arts and Crafts and playing board games. The cost is $125.
February Vacation Soccer Clinic with Boston Soccer Academy
BOSTON SOCCER ACADEMY is one of the premiere soccer camps for young soccer players in New England. Director RALPH FERRIGNO has over 25 years experience coaching in College, with Club and with the Olympic Development Program. He has used his extensive experiences on the American youth soccer scene to put together a camp program suitable for any and all young soccer players. This program is held during school vacation week at the Middle School February 19th – 22nd from 12-3. The cost is $100 @ Swampscottrec.com.
