Free Seminar on Edible Perennial Gardening

Edible Perennial Gardening and Landscaping with Naturalist and Landscaper John Root
Thursday May 2 at 7:00 pm at Swampscott High School.

Learn how to establish and maintain a variety of
perennials, including trees, shrubs, vines, canes, and herbaceous plants, that
yield abundant crops of delicious and nutritious food throughout the growing
season with minimal maintenance. Plants will be offered for sale. Free
admission; all ages welcome. This program is offered by the Recreation
Department and is supported in part by a grant from the Swampscott Cultural
