Don't Miss Godspell or the Clow Plop Bingo and Country Fair

Those who attended this year's Spring Concert and Art Show will agree that we have some wonderfully talented band, art and chorus students in our high school.  We are also extremely fortunate to have teachers like Anita Balliro, Reeva Oppenheim, James Pearse, and Scott Winship who help our students achieve excellence in the visual and performing arts.

This week's big event at the high school is the drama club's production of Godspell.  Performances are Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:00 p.m.Tickets are $16 and $10 for students and seniors. Contact godspell@swampscottpops.org or 781-596-8830 ext. 5702 for more information.  Please come out, support our student actors and musicians, and enjoy a night of quality, live entertainment.

The twentieth annal Cow Plop Bingo and Country Fair takes place this Sunday at the Clarke Elementary School from 11:00 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Food, games, inflatable rides, pony rides, fun, and of course, the famous plopping cow make this a great event for the entire family.  Tickets for the bingo are available at the Clarke School office and the day of the event.  Tickets are $20 and the grand prize is $2000.  Only 500 tickets will be sold.  Take it from someone who has won twice, it's a chance worth taking!

Big Blue Bargains will be open this week, and every week, Wednesday, 9 a.m.to 11:00 a.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  The shop is located in the rear of the Middle School, just follow the signs and look for the big "S" on the door.  A new donation of maternity clothes that are in excellent condition arrived last week.  Come in and have a look around.  Big Blue Bargains only offers high quality second-hand items.  All proceeds benefit the schools.
