The new business, located next to Petco at the Vinnin Square Mall, will be the only Swizzles to include a private party room enabling it to host birthday parties.

Swizzles frozen yogurt owner Adam Kessner tells us contruction of his shop at Vinnin Square Mall took longer than he would have liked but the store will be ready for business on Saturday.

"We are unbelievably excited to finally be able to open in Swampscott," Adam said in an email message Friday night.

The shop will offer 10 flavors of frozen yogurt, an 18-foot-long toppings bar with 30 toppings ranging from fresh fruit and nuts to cereals and candy, an outdoor seating area, and its signature feature wall with changing colors.

This store, unlike any other, has a private party room which will enable Swizzles of Swampscott to provide fun birthday parties.

Kessner had four Swizzles frozen yogurt shops in New England, as of late February.

Customers choose from a rotating selection of flavors, then add toppings, paying 59-cents per ounce. Cup sizes are 12-ounces and 16-ounces.

The customer pulls the handle on the yogurt machine and spoons the toppings.

The store rotates through 25 yogurt flavors, with 10 available on any given day, including six standards.

The standards?

Vanilla, chocolate, cake batter, cookies and cream, pomegranate and original.

Others will include cappuccino, coconut, red velvet cake, Irish mint, angel food cake, strawberry, blueberry, sorbet, mango and sorbet.

Swizzles aims for a cheery atmosphere.

A wall in the store changes colors while pop music plays.
