The High School Cable Club Auction Starts Tonight

1) Newsbit of the Day:

Selectmen will host a public hearing for a liquor license transfer when they meet on Wednesday at 7 p.m.

• A Public Hearing will be held for all parties interested in an application for a transfer of  liquor license request from Red Rock Bistro, 141 Humphrey Street, Swampscott, Mass  to Swampscott Restaurant Operator LLC, for a Common Victuallers License under the provisions of Chapter 138, Section 12 of the General Laws as amended to sell all alcohol on premises described as full service restaurant with one hundred and seventy five seats, bar including stools, alcoholic beverages may also be served and consumed by patrons in the outside patio area adjacent to the bar and restaurant (no street access) which seats twenty (20) and by patrons in the ocean side garden area which seats sixteen (16).  The licensee will be required to have a designated area for patrons awaiting seating.  

2) Town and School Watch: 

The School Committee meets Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the high school. Agenda items include a disucssion of graduation requirements and open campus.

3) Swampscott Cable Club Auction:

The high school auction starts tonight. 

This year’s auction runs from May 20th to the 23rd on Comcast Channel 15 in Swampscott and Verizon Channel 40 in Swampscott, Lynn and Nahant. Tune in to bid by phone and win bargains!  See the Swampscott Patch soon for a list of items.
