The co-owner of the Ares gas station at the corner of Essex Street and Eastman says he and his brother still have plans to open the location as a convenience store.
He just does not know when that will be.
The owners still have to resolve stock, employee and lottery sales issues, said co-owner Danny Bakis.
The store, which opened earlier this year at the site of the former Fiory's Market, has been doing fine selling gas with its competitively priced product, he said.
But there is no ballpark sense as to when Ares will start selling convenience store product.
