Martial Arts Students earn their Black Belts

We are very proud of our new Black Belts at the United Martial Arts Center! They excel in physical and leadership skills.

The United Martial Arts Center, featuring Body Mind Systems® is happy to announce that five students successfully tested for first degree black belt in the junior program.

Tavish Peckham, Daniel Blanchard, John Faria, Emma Oliver and Fiachra Daly
underwent a two hour test on a Saturday morning and demonstrated their skills
in complex martial arts forms.  The students, who range in age from 10 to 14 years, have been taking martial arts
classes for the past four years.

“We are very proud of our students to accomplish this goal in
their training”, said Bob Humenn, Head Instructor and Owner of the United Martial Arts Center, located in Vinnin Square Plaza.
“Our programs teach the physical aspects of martial arts that offer
strength, flexibility and coordination; we also focus on listening skills,
leadership, and respect for others.  Through martial arts training, the students develop confidence in themselves so that they can become leaders and not follow the pack.  This applies to our children’s and adult programs”.

The United Martial Arts Center is located in Vinnin Square
Plaza, adjacent to Marshalls.  781-581-8887.  Their website is www.umacnorthshore.com
