Video: Friendly Shepherd Mix Wants a Home
Jay gets around fine on three legs. What he needs is a place to stand.
Jay is a 4-year-old Shepherd mix looking for a home.
Originally from South Carolina, he was scheduled to be euthanized before he was rescued.
Those who first meet this friendly dog will notice he has three legs and a partially amputated hind leg.

Development Director Laurie McCannon said this doesn't keep Jay from staying as active as any other pet.
There are "no special needs in that department...[He] definitely gets along as good as, if not better than, most four-legged dogs," she said.

Though a little camera shy and wary of other dogs, McCannon said Jay has a wonderful personality, which will make the perfect addition to a new home.
