Taylor Lautner Goes To College In Swampscott For A Day

Marian Court College was the setting for filming of Grown Ups 2 on Thursday, and was to include a "College Fraternity House" scene.

 

Fans who amassed by Littles Point Road Thursday night for a look Grown Ups 2 stars said they had tried to get close to filming at earlier in the day but the set was closed.

Several of them said they had heard that Twilight star and Grown Ups 2 actor Taylor Lautner was filming at the college on Thursday.

Actor Milo Ventimiglia told MTV in an earlier interview that he and Taylor Lautner were to play fraternity brothers in a Grown Ups 2 scene.

And  that its exterior would serve as a college fraternity house in a scene slated to be shot in July.

The fraternity house was to come under graffiti attack in a battle of the townies vs the college kids, a movie representative told Marian, according to a college spokeswoman.

The college featured in Grown Ups 2 is Brunson University, and the town is Stanton, Connecticut, a fictional New England setting.

The real college, Marian Court, previously known as White Court, is a stately building that once served as the summer White House for President Calvin Coolidge.

Adam Sandler's Grown Ups 2 comedy includes a stable of returning stars including David Spade, Chris Rock, Rob Schneider, Salma Hayek, Kevin James and Maya Rudolph.

Other actors include Nick Swardson, Peter Dante and Alexander Ludwig, Taylor Lautner and Disney child actors China Anne McClain and Cameron Boyce.
