Grown Ups 2's Shaq Hits the High Notes

The traffic cop in the Adam Sandler comedy bemoans his baldness in a recently released video shot in a make-up trailer.

The most famous police officer on the beat in fictional Stanton, Conn., is getting less attention for his stature than his hair piece.

Shaquille O'Neal has been wearing a horseshoe-shaped wig below his duty cap on the set of Grown Ups 2.

The movie is being shot this summer in Swampscott and Marblehead and Lynn, all of which serve as the setting for the fictional New England town of Stanton.

Shaq and his wig drew last week.

Today, July 2, the Huffington Post has a short feature that links to a video  that Shaq made in a Grown Ups 2 make-up trailer.

In the video Shaq laments the loss of his hair as Prince sings Purple Rain in the background.

Rain, purple or otherwise, won't be a problem on the Gorwn Ups 2 set in Swampscott this week.

Filming for the Adam Sandler comedy moves inside the in Swampscott at Phillips Park.

The interior filming will feature a wild party scene with the whole cast and perhaps the J. Geils Band.

Cast members include Sandler, Chris Rock, David Spade, Salma Hayek and Kevin James.

Editor's note: Sorry about the confusion. We added Lynn to the article because, yes, at least a few days have been filmed in Lynn. Other filming locations that we know of include Saugus, Tewksbury and Salem.

Hey...its being shot in Lynn too. And from what I hear, alot more of it in Lynn than "la dee da Swampscott/Marblehead" because you people are whiners.

MamaG you are so right, I live in swampscott and the town officials are big whiners. Instead of finding this kinda fun. They want to cry. I personally live across from the new sound stage and am excited for them to start shooting.

I don't mean to sound whiney but doesn't the article say it's shooting in Swampscott, Marblehead AND Lynn?
