Swampscott Library Family Night Concert

We will kick off our summer reading program with a wonderful free concert by the talented local musician Philip Alexander. Philip runs the popular music classes "Sing! Play! Grow!" At Philip’s concerts whole families are energized and on their feet singing, dancing, laughing and making music together, even Grandma!  The songs are funny and the music is live, played on guitar, harmonica, dulcimer, ocarina, djembe, digiridoo and boomwhackers too. Bring a picnic supper and sit on the library lawn (weather permitting.) Check out Philip's website Sing! Play! Grow!
You may also enjoy an ice cream sundae at a fundraiser for the Friends of the Library. Treadwell's Ice Cream will bring two flavors of ice cream, hot fudge & strawberry sauces, whipped cream and sprinkles. The cost of each sundae will be $3.50. In case of rain the concert will be held upstairs in the program room. Funding for the concert is provided by the Friends of the Swampscott Library.
