Swampscott Farmers' Market August 26th

Swampscott Farmers’ Market - Events

August 26th 2012.  Last Sunday the weather was perfect, cool and almost crisp as the farmers rolled in for setup at the Swampscott High School front parking lot.

This week bring your kids to see an extra large monster lobster, as Cherry Street Fish Market will have a big one on display for touch and feel.  And don't forget to grab your weekly veggies, meats, fish and of course lobster.

Yes, we have fresh fish and lobster every Sunday. Cherry Street Fish Market of Danvers, MA joins us every week bringing in the highest quality and widest variety of seafood products.  A family runs business for 26 years, Shannon Parker, her sisters and her staff setup a fantastic display of local, right off the boat, fish and lobster; and we must not forget everyone’s favorite, their home made, fresh daily, lobster rolls piled high with hefty chunks of lobster meat.

Did you know we also have meats and poultry at the Swampscott Farmers' Market? Yep, that’s right, vacuum packed and frozen, ready for you to take home and enjoy.  John Crow Farm is a pasture-based farm in Groton , Massachusetts .  They bring a wide variety of their meats and poultry with them every Sunday; all cuts (fantastic sirloin steaks) and a variety of hot dogs and specialty sausages too.
