ARTS Meeting on 4/30 For Arts Enthusiasts

ARTS (Arts Resources for the Town of Swampscott) is inviting people with ideas and enthusiasm who are also interested in supporting cultural arts in the town to attend an ARTS meeting on April 30, at 6:30 p.m. at the . The nonprofit, which was founded in 2003 to foster appreciation and participation in visual, literary and performing arts is hosting a meeting which is open to the public.

“This group has recently been revitalized and is exploring lots of new ways to support and foster the arts in Swampscott,” says Mary Webster, president of the group.  “There is a lot of positive momentum right now so we would like to especially welcome new members at this time.”

The ARTS mission is to improve the quality of life in Swampscott by fostering lifelong appreciation of and participation in visual, literary, and performing arts within the community of Swampscott.

In the past, the group has organized Harbor Fest activities, Pumpkin Fest, staged readings, literary lectures and art exhibits.
