A Classical Escape From Winter

The North Shore Philharmonic Orchestra warmed the audience on Sunday.

Classical music and a comfortable seat in Auditorium provided a perfect escape as the played its Winter Concert Sunday afternoon.

The program featured music of Sir Edward Elgar, a tuba concerto by Ralph Vaughn Williams featuring tuba soloist Dan Hunter, and Mahler's Symphony No. 4 with a guest performance by soprano Ashley Emerson.

The NSPO performs its three yearly concerts at Swampscott High.
