Whatcha Catch?

Swampscott anglers tell us what they caught and how they caught it.

The Morgans and a family friend were fishing at high tide at Fisherman's Beach Sunday when the friend caught a flounder.

It was the first flounder Nicholas Capra, 11, ever caught.

The flat fish put up a bit of a fight but Nicholas reeled it in.

He was using a spinning reel and was fishing with a single hook baited with sea worm.

A sinker kept his hook on the bottom where the flounder hang out and feed.

Nicholas said he would be feeding on the flounder for supper.

Nicholas was fishing with his friend Richie Morgan, also a fifth grader, and Richie's mom and dad.
