This column features a fun family event at the Lynch/van Otterloo YMCA
Amazing Family Race
- Member Fee: $25; Community Fee: $40
- May 22, 1-4 PM at Seaside Park
Sign up for an afternoon of family fun! YMCA will be hosting a city-wide race through the streets, stores, restaurants, parks, and beaches of Marblehead.
Starting in seaside park, families will work together to accomplish tasks and retrieve memorabilia as they make their way through the streets of downtown and uptown Marblehead!

Tasks will include getting photos with mannequins at local boutiques, giving parents a manicure, painting a family portrait, obstacle courses, and family tricycle relays to name a few.
The race will wrap up with a bbq and awards ceremony for all participants. Come on down and join us!
