“Jim has been an extraordinary resource to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for nearly 20 years, and has had a distinguished career in public service that has spanned his entire legal career," said U.S. Attorney Carmen Ortiz.
"Having been a colleague of his for nearly 15 years, I can attest to Jim’s unsurpassed dedication for fairness and impartiality which will, no doubt, serve the Commonwealth well. The breadth of his legal expertise has been relied upon by both myself, and prosecutors alike, and I speak for the entire DOJ family when I say that Jim Lang will be missed.”
