Notice: Spring Cleaning at Swampscott Cemeteries
You have until April 15 to retrieve any holiday or winter materials from the cemetery.
The Swampscott Department of Public Works issued the following statement Thursday:
Please be advised, as of April 15, 2014, ALL holiday and winter decorations MUST be removed from the grave sites to allow for cemetery grounds to be cleaned up and for repair work to proceed.
All materials left on or around stones will be discarded.
